Stone; daughters: Samantha Welch (Shannon Haney) and George Ege; grandchildren: Trent Norman (Amanda), Ethan Escobar (Brooke), Jonah Welch, Raven Guttery, and Autumn Welch; great-grandchildren: Cayden McCall, Bentley Welch, and Aaron Norman (and Baby Escobar); father: Sterling M. Stone Jr.; mother: Martha Louise Glisson Stone; brother: Stephen Stone (Patsy); sister: Stephanie Stone Beasley (Dan); nephews: Scott Stone (Amy) and Todd Stone (Sheri Davis); great-nephew: Conner Stone; great-niece: Suzanne Stone; niece: Dakota Beasley; special friend: Charles "Chaz" Todd; and many family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Smoky Mountain Cremations and Funeral Service (3732 Soco Rd, Maggie Valley, NC 28751). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
