She was predeceased by : her father David Earl Sills, Sr.; her former life partner Mellie Gordon Smith, II; her brother David Earl Sills, Jr.; and her half-siblings, John Lee Pipkin, Osbert Pipkin, Milton Pipkin and Jackie Pipkin Boron.
She is survived by : her niece Brenda Sills Church (Max) of Wilkesboro; her great-nephews, Steven Thomas Frazier (Ginger) of Magnolia, N. C. and John L. Frazier; her great-niece Shirley Ann Hill (Jimmy) of Huntsville; her brother-in-law Donald Beard, Sr.; her nephew Donald Beard, Jr.; her stepchildren, Mellie Gordon Smith, III (Jan) of Liberty, NC and Lisa Regan (Roland) of Lawrenceville; and also, Cara Nwodu (Chinedu Nwodu) and Brett T. Frazier of Ashley Illinois. She is also survived by eight step-grandchildren and eight step-great grandchildren.
