He is survived by: his wife Doris Batts; his children, Andy Batts of Magnolia, Gary Batts (Paula) of Wallace and Becky Batts of Topsail Island; his grandchildren, Warren Batts, Ori Batts and Rose Easterling (Eston); and his siblings, Vernell Batts Davis of Wallace, Louvenia Hollingsworth of Wallace, Brenda Hines of Wallace, Claiborn Batts of Wallace and Elton Batts of Georgia.
