She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Lima Heavner and Blanch Lee Carpenter Heavner; and her husband William Lamar Auten. She is survived by: her children, Chris Auten (Kim) of Conover, Mark Auten of Raleigh, Greg Auten of Maiden and Valerie Robinson (Rob) of Winston Salem; and her grandchildren, Cailtin Rollins (Joe) and Joshua Robinson.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the First Methodist Church (303 N Main Ave, Maiden, NC 28650). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
