He is survived by: his wife Pat Beach Perkins; his children, Leighann Perkins Campbell (Scott) of Lincolnton and Craig Perkins (Beth) of Lincolnton; his sister Pat Perkins (Tony Moore) of Maiden; his grandchildren, Lauren Campbell Berry (Markaus), Hunter Campbell, Jake Campbell, Cason Perkins and Chase Perkins; and his great grandchild Alec Berry.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 4:45 PM at the Mountain View Baptist Church (5045 E Maiden Rd, Maiden, NC 28650). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
