He was predeceased by: his parents, Carson Edgar Ikard and Catherine Ramseur Ikard; and his brothers, David Ikard and Carson Ikard, Jr.. He is survived by: his siblings, Phillip Ikard (Bernice) of Maiden, Tony Ikard of Maiden, Martha Finger, Patty Finger (Ronnie) of Lincolnton and Annette Ikard of Maiden.
