David Cecil Jenkins Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Cecil Jenkins of Maiden, North Carolina, who passed away on October 1, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Farrell Jenkins and Ada Parker Jenkins; his wife Doris Lemons Jenkins; his siblings, Farrell Jenkins Jr., Calvin Jenkins, Elsie Withers, Rachel Carter, Polly Moose and Margie Sigmon; and his daughter-in-law Lynne Harbinson Jenkins.

He is survived by: his children, Renae Keller (Stephen) of Startown, Tana Dellinger (Kenny "Sam") of Maiden and Rick Jenkins of Maiden; and his siblings, Roger Jenkins of Lincolnton, Rene J. Smith of Newton, Gail J. Mann of Charlotte and Kathleen Thorneburg of Newton. He is also survived by Six grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Meadow Ridge Baptist Church (1173 Zeb Haynes Rd, Maiden, NC 28650). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
