The passing of Donald Patrick Anderson of Maiden, North Carolina leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on June 24, 2025 at the age of 95. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Russell Anderson and Myrtle McCoy Anderson; his former wife Shirley Robinson Anderson; his wife Thelma "Maggie" Williams Anderson; his siblings, Bob, Floyd, Frank, Louise, Helen and Norma Williams; and his stepchildren, Terry Brown and Edith W. Williams.
He is survived by: his children, Donald Anderson, Jr. (Wanda) of Maiden, David Anderson (Sheila) of Maiden, Johnny Anderson of Maiden, Harold Anderson of Taylorsville, Joe Anderson (Beth) of Dallas and Maria Keeter (Daniel) of Arizona; and his stepdaughters, Louise Honeycutt of Lenior and Judy Hollar of Lenior. He is also survived by 10 Grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Burke Mortuary Chapel (2516 N Main Ave, Newton, NC 28658). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
