We are sad to announce that on April 23, 2023, at the age of 82, James Andrew Huitt of Maiden, North Carolina, born in Catawba, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Earl Bryant and Ara Lowe Huitt; and his siblings, Bobby Huitt, Joe Huitt, Junior Huitt, Mickey Sanford and Dean Huitt.

He is survived by : his wife Barbara Setzer Huitt; his daughters, Lisa H. Walker (Ronnie) of Hickory and Amy H. Jarrett (Scott) of Maiden; his grandchildren, Meredith Luther, Ethan Luther, Adam Cansler and Katie Lawing (Anthony); his great grandchildren, Grant and Austin Lawing; and his grandchild Aubree Cansler.
