He was predeceased by: his parents, James Marvin Sigmon and Catherine Hedrick Sigmon; his wife Alberta "Bert" Huffman Sigmon; and his sister Geraldine Sigmon. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Devin Sigmon of Asheville, Nicholas Sigmon of Winston-Salem and Ivey Sigmon of Colfax; and his brother Dent Sigmon of Catawba. He is also survived by Numerous nieces, nephews.
