He was predeceased by: his aunt Beverly "Belle" Elaine Clark. He is survived by: his parents, Brad Painter and Nancy Painter; his niece Shelly; and his grandparents, Bud, Gaye Painter and Lillian Huffman. He is also survived by numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins.
