He was predeceased by: his parents, Danner Hartsoe and Annie Hicks Hartsoe; his wife Frances Lutz Hartsoe; his great grandchild Kaylyn Elzabeth Hartsoe; and his sisters, Gladys Moses and Helen Pitts.
He is survived by: his children, Jeff Hartsoe (Karen) of Maiden and Jeanna Craig (Gene) of Maiden; his grandchildren, Dwayne Hartsoe (Amanda) of Vale and Amber Davis (Zack) of Sherrills Ford; and his great grandchildren, Dustin, Alex, Sawyer, Kinsley, Gabby and Carter.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 3:45 PM at the Mays Chapel Methodist Church (1707 Mays Chapel Church Rd, Maiden, NC 28650). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
