He is survived by: his wife Betty Wilson Overcash; his children, Sherri Cook of Conover, Carol Johnson (Gary) of Lincolnton, Sheilah Burghardt (Paul) of Newton, Donna Hammonds (Jeff) of Conway, Shawn Overcash (Lisa) of Columbus, NC and Bobby Riley of Newton; his grandchildren, Brook (James), Todd, Kaleigh (Brandon), Marlee (William), Lauren (David), Brittany (Justin), Kelly (Caleb), Rachel (David), Sarah (Austin), Logan, Riley (Cody), Robbie, Gabbie and Karina; and his great grandchildren, Wesley (Sherri) of Grace, J. T., Brylee, Hazel, William, Mason, Adeline, Aurora, Mavea and Bailey.
In lieu of flowers or other support, the family requests consideration of a donation to Liberty Lanes Hospice House, whose amazing staff provided Larry with a restful and peaceful journey to the next life.
