He was predeceased by: his parents, H. O. Stilwell and Elizabeth Horne Stilwell. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Helene Olfson Stilwell of Maiden; his children, Elizabeth Davidson (Todd) of Marion, Reid Stilwell (Rebecca) of Lincolnton and Patrick Stilwell (Kelly) of Lincolnton; his siblings, Tony Stilwell of Stanley, Mark Stilwell of Stanley, Robin Rhodes (Dave) of Hickory and Rhoda Davis (Don Levison) of Stanley; his grandchildren, Sidney Pearson (Isaac), Duncan Davidson (Shannon), Daisy Lewis (Thomas) and Abbigail Spencer (Bryant); his great grandchild Oliver Lewis; and his close friend Pepper. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
