He is survived by: his wife Tamara Stallings Moose; his children, Joshua Atwell of Raleigh, Levi Moretz (Delia) of Killeen, TX, Eric Moretz of Newton, Caleb Moretz of Maiden, Chrystal Pate (Josh) of Caldwell County, Jessica Small (Sam) of Lincolnton and Felicia Moretz of Lenoir; his parent Marjorie Yount Moose of Maiden; his great grandchild Mildred Gilbert; and his brothers-in-law, Barry Stallings, Greg Stallings and Larry Peeler.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Lawing's Chapel Baptist Church (4637 Lawing Chapel Church Rd, Maiden, NC 28650). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
