He is survived by: his father Kenneth Phillip Rathbone Sr.; his sons, Joshua Brown of Mooresville, NC, Newton Brown Jr. of Mooresville, NC and Brian (Rhonda Brown); and his siblings, Susan (Richard Girgus) and Thurman (Sheila Brown). He is also survived by his family and he will forever be remembered as a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.
