He is survived by : his wife Dianne Schronce Beal; his daughters, Rhonda Beal Woody (Chris) of El Paso, TX and Jennifer Beal of Maiden, NC.; his close friend Kevin Fulbright (Kate) of Maiden, NC.; his grandchildren, Tanner Woody (Carlene) of Summerville, SC, Eli Woody of Columbia, SC., Rachael Woody Mark (Alex) of Nashville, TN, Morgan Woody (Brandon Kinley) and A'chantis Bruce of Maiden, NC.; his great grandchildren, Briggs Fox, Tillman, Sutton Woody, Maisyn Kinley and Mollie Claire Woody; his nephews, Justin Beal and Christopher Beal (Tiffany); and his niece Paige Beal of Nebraska.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 28th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Lawings Chapel Baptist Church (4637 Lawing Chapel Church Rd, Maiden, NC 28650). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 28th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
