He was predeceased by: his parents, William Estes and Virginia Caldwell Estes; and his brother Leonard Estes. He is survived by: his children, Derick Estes (Krissy) of Claremont and Andrea Robinson of Huntersville; and his grandchildren, Kayla Gilliland, Noah Estes, Kaitlyn Dittrich, Gracie Estes, Mia Robinson and Colt Estes.
