He was predeceased by: his parents, William Clyde Holbrooks and Vertie Woodard Holbrooks; and his wife Maria Crutchfield Holbrooks. He is survived by: his siblings, Tony Holbrooks (Carolyn) of Maiden, Donna Setzer (Michael) of Catawba, Sandra Lanier (Max), Kathy Jordan (Jerry) of Maiden and Numerous.
