She is survived by: her daughter Brenda Spruill of Wise; her daughter-in-law Deborah Jones of Wise; her grandchildren, Major Claiborne, III, Walter Spruill, Mack D. Jones, Jr., Christopher Jones, Wallace Alvin Jones and Kenneth Phillips; her sisters, Rosa Jones of Wise and Nannie Jones of Norlina; her mother-in-law Daisy Russell Burnette of Brooklyn; her niece Cheril Jones; and her close friend Dr. Yvette Douglas-Lewis. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Sunday, June 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the R. H. Greene Funeral Service (109 Front St, Warrenton, NC 27589). A celebration of life was held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Russell Union Church (353 Russell Union Rd, Manson, NC 27553). A burial was held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 at the New Providence Christian Missionary Baptist Church (1908 US-1, Norlina, NC 27563).
