She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Payne and Mabelle Payne (Willis); her sister Beulah "Bea"; and her brothers-in-law, Bill Daub and Richard Andrew.
She is survived by: her husband Gary Schambach; her daughter Cindy Payne of Charlottesville, Virginia; her sister Fern Andrew of Des Moines, Iowa; her stepchildren, Adam Schambach (Tara) of Raleigh and Genevieve Boulanger (Andrew) of Huntington; her grandchildren, Annabelle, Charlotte, Stella and Jack; and her siblings-in-law, Lee, Mahtab Schambach, Bernice, Fred Culbertson, David and Melissa Schambach. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
