It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Trustee Emeritus Annie W. Monroe (Manson, North Carolina), who passed away on May 11, 2026, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Isaiah Williams and Fannie Haskins Williams Bullock. She is survived by: her children, Carlton L. Monroe (Andrea E.) and Bridgette Seafus (Roger); her sisters, Marie Hazzard (Abraham), Lou E. Nicholson, Fannie W. Russell and Valissa Williams Smith (Calvin); her stepsiblings, Willard Bullock (Lucine), Vernon Bullock Sr., Permenas Bullock Jr. (Frances), Eugene Bullock (Beatrice), Gloria B. Ware, Viola Bagley and Carolyn Bagley (Garland); and her sister-in-law Elder Mary E. Williams. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
