Jerry Carroll Combs Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jerry Carroll Combs (Manteo, North Carolina), born in Mount Airy, North Carolina, who passed away on October 26, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Ann O'Neal Combs; his parents, Armon Combs and Etta Payne Combs; and his brother Oliver Combs. He is survived by: his children, Amy Hinnant (Tim Hinnant) of Manteo, NC and Neal Combs (Brandi Coleman Combs) of Manteo, NC.; his grandchildren, Sydni Combs Midgett (Reed), Sammy Jo Hinnant Saraceni (Tom), Breanne Hinnant Wright and Lane Hinnant (Melissa); and his great grandchildren, Angelina, Alaina, Jase, Beckett, Olivia, Jackson, Corbin, Kora, Ben and Jake. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Dare County Shrine Club.
