With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Mary Ann McWilliams of Manteo, North Carolina, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. In the sacred silence of farewell, Mary Ann is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eunice V. Walker and Don J. Walker; and her sister Carolyn Walker Smith. She is survived by: her husband Charles Edward McWilliams, Jr.; her daughters, Virginia Hendricks (Pete) and Karlie McWilliams; and her grandson Jacob McWilliams.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Outer Banks Chapel - Twiford Funeral Homes (500 Budleigh St, Manteo, NC 27954). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Outer Banks SPCA (PO Box 2477, Manteo, NC 27954 or online at obxspca.org), reflecting Mary Ann's love for animals and her compassionate spirit.
