He is survived by : his sister Cindy Eckert of Elizabeth City, NC; his sons, Kenneth Barefoot (Ashley) of Elizabeth City, NC, James Barefoot and Adam Barefoot of Aydlett, NC; and his granddaughter Elainea Malloy of Macclenny, FL.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and step-grandchildren.
