He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Smoot Borden and Bertha Christine "Keaton" Borden. He is survived by: his wife Linda "Pugh" Borden; his children, Julie (James Huff) of Manassas Park, VA and Brian (Albertha Borden) of Front Royal, VA.; his granddaughters, Hannah Hughes and Breanna Borden; his siblings-in-law, Alberta LaBelle, Stanley Pugh and Jerry Shaver; and his cousin Brenda Robinson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
