Bryant leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Bryant’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Bryant will carry forward his memory in their hearts.

He is survived by: his wife Addie Pearl Shephard; his children, Gregory Lee Shephard (Deborah), Mona Shephard Hebron and Veronica Shephard Garrett (Johnny); and his grandchildren, Bryant T. Shephard (Jacquetta), LaKeesha Shephard Purcell (Terrell), Leander Pickett, Aldwin "Tyrell" Shephard, Jonese Garrett and DeWayne Hebron. He is also survived by great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Viewing was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:50 PM at the Lees Chapel Missionary Baptist Church (7501 NC-50, Maple Hill, NC 28454). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
