It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dawn Godfrey Clayton in Maple, North Carolina, who passed away on April 26, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Percy Godfrey and Marian Godfrey; and her husband Larry Dale Clayton. She is survived by: her pet Chloe; her nieces, Katherine Stanley of Greensboro and Kimberly Andrews (Tommy) of Randleman; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Olivia Hall of Greensboro, Tate Andrews of Randleman, Luke Andrews of Randleman and Shelby Andrews of Randleman; and her sister-in-law Cindy Vestal of Greensboro.
