With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Boyd Dexter Luther (Marble, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 17, 2025 at the age of 68. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Boyd Dexter Luther to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his father Garland Luther; and his siblings, Bonita Luther and Bobby Luther. He is survived by: his mother Marilyn Trull Chambers; his father-in-law Rogers; his wife Lisa McClure Luther; his sons, Lucas (Heather) and Bryan (Brittany); and his grandchildren, Brady, Bella and Briggs.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM and at 3:30 PM at the Vengeance Creek Baptist Church (940 Lower Vengeance Creek Rd, Marble, NC 28905).
The family is requesting that donations be given to Vengeance Creek Church Building Fund in honor of Boyd Luther or donations may be made to The Gideon's International, PO Box 624, Murphy, NC 28906.
