It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clarence Robert Burris of Marble, North Carolina, who passed away on January 22, 2026, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Onlie Burris and Melia Morgan Burris; and his siblings, Ada Ferguson, Carl, Boyd and Sydney Burris.
He is survived by: his children, Michelle Burnett of Blairsville, Laura Lake of Englewood, TN. and Chris; his daughter-in-law Bethany Burris of Englewood, TN.; his sisters, Vina Martin of Murrayville, GA., Becky Smith of North Guyton, GA. and Caroline Henson of Augusta, GA.; and his grandchildren, Darren Burnett, Dalton Burnett, Dalton Burris, Jonas Toder, Khiana Toder, Colton Burris, Nora Beasley, Nova Burris and Maxton Burris.
The family requests that donations may be made to help defray expenses in Mr. Burris's memory.
