We are sad to announce that on June 19, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Hoyt Lunsford of Marble, North Carolina. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Pearlie Lunsford and Inez Rogers Lunsford. He is survived by: the mother of his children Nina Brown Lunsford; his siblings, Fred Lunsford (Gladys), Furel Lunsford and Beatrice Rose (Kendall); his grandson Kenton Parker; his sister-in-law Alta Rogers (Glenn); his wife Margaret Cole Lunsford; his children, Andrea Vaught, Lana Parker (John) and Morgan Lunsford (Angela); his grandchildren, Joshua Vaught (Evelin), Jeremiah Vaught (Maysa), James Vaught (Keri), Joslyn Parker-Booth (Michael), Isaiah Lunsford and Regan Lunsford; his great grandchildren, Malachi, Isaac, Daniel, Kimber, Zander, Cooper, Titus and Atarah; and his brother-in-law Roy Brown (Ruby). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the Marble Springs Baptist Church (80 Marble Spgs Church Rd, Marble, NC 28905). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family wishes that donations be made in memory of Hoyt Lunsford to Broyhill Children's Home @ 111 Sneed Drive, Clyde, NC 28712 or Cherokee County Retired School Personnel c/o Katherine Dailey PO Box 882, Murphy, North Carolina.
