It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Doyle McClure of Marble, North Carolina, who passed away on March 8, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbert McClure and Velma Ruby Messer McClure; his brothers, Jimmy McClure and Wendell McClure; and his brother-in-law Roy Burris.
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Ditmore McClure; his daughter Tammy Byers (Jason); his granddaughter Bella Byers; his siblings, Darrell McClure (Darlene), Barbara Morrow (Attle), Linda Palmer (Ricky) and Sandra Burris; and his sister-in-law Charlotte McClure. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
