He is survived by: his wife Debbie Mulkey; his daughter Christy Yancey; his granddaughter Olivia Yancey; his son Larry Moore (Elizabeth); his grandsons, Syler and Harper Moore; his child Kelley Brooks (Daniel); his grandsons, Dean and Samuel Brooks; his stepchildren, Christin Whaley and Patrick Whaley (Katie); his grandchildren, Piper and Mason Whaley; and his siblings, Tommy Mulkey (Wanda), Terry Mulkey (Reudene), Debbie Wilkins (Johnny) and Gayle Wilkins.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that donations in James Mulkey's memory be made to the Upper Peachtree Baptist Church.
