Jimmie leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Jimmie’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Jimmie will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Washington "Hubert" and Zenalee Patterson Graves; and his brother Terry Graves. He is survived by: his wife Patty Graves; and his children, Kristie Jones (Billy), Perry Graves (Alecia) and Gary Graves (Wendy).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Ivie Funeral Home (194 Peachtree St, Murphy, NC 28906). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
