It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Roy Burris of Marble, North Carolina, born in Andrews, North Carolina, who passed away on January 23, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Onlie Burris and Lelia Burris; and his siblings, Ada Ferguson, Carl Burris and Boyd Burris.

He is survived by : his wife Sandra Burris; his children, Emily Young (Drew) and Kevin Burris (Jennifer); his siblings, Vina Martin, Becky Smith, Carolyn Henson, Sidney Burris and Clarence Burris; and his grandchildren, Josh Burris, Emma Burris, Autumn Young, Lila Young and Elliot Young.

In lieu of flowers all donations to go to the Gideons and the Men's Ministry of the Marble Springs Baptist Church.
