It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Lou Webb of Marietta, North Carolina, born in Winona, Minnesota, who passed away on January 26, 2024, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roscoe Stanberry and Gladys Stanberry; and her brothers, Robert L. Stanberry, Sr. and John A. Stanberry. She is survived by: her children, Miriam Murchie Mullikin (Kent) of Chapel Hill, William R. Murchie, Jr. (Kathryn) of Valdosta, Georgia and Carol Ann Murchie of Newport. She is also survived by three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
