She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Arnold McKinney and Ellie Buchanan McKinney; her husband Clyde "Bruce" Guy; her sons, Alan Guy of Marion and Darrell Guy Of Marion (Joanna); her siblings, Virginia Greene of Marion and Ralph McKinney (Glenna) of Marion; her grandchildren, Kendra Marlowe, Austin Guy (Olivia), Alex Guy and Arianna Guy; her great grandchildren, Gracelynn Laws, Oakley Guy, Ashyr Kincaid and Kyla Kincaid; and her close friend Pam Guy.
