He is survived by: his children, Kay Scott (Danny) of Morganton, Bobby McPeters (Teresa) of Old Fort and Dena Peterson (Marty) of Morganton; and his grandchildren, Julia Carpenter, Erin Peterson, Ashley Schoenen, Kala Mashburn, Kasey Scott, Robbie McPeters, Noah McPeters, Samantha Jordan, Nelson Nye, Isaiah McPeters, Emma McPeters and Michael McPeters.
