He is survived by: his significant other Valerie Padgett; his children, Tamara Hagan of Asheville, Amanda Hagan Nissen (Alex) of Morganton and Chris Hagan of Asheville; and his siblings, Judy Babbitt of Hickory and Ricky Sharpe of Asheville.
