He was predeceased by: his father Horace Davis; and his brother Marvin Davis. He is survived by: his close friend Sharon Burnette; his daughter Crystal Curtis Abee; his siblings, Dennis "Porky" Davis, Kenneth "Fuzzy" Davis, Eddie Davis (Julie) and Wayne Davis (Becky); his grandchildren, Garrett Laws, Daniel Laws and Scarlett Curtis; and his great grandchild Gracey Laws.
