Daniel Gardner Obituary

Mr. Daniel Dean Gardner, age 47 of Marion, passed away unexpectedly July 09, 2019. The husband of Holly Gardner, son of Michael David Gardner and the late Judy Buchanan Gardner. Daniel was born on December 02, 1971. In his high school days, Daniel was an all-state champion wrestler. Daniel was a lifetime fisherman, and among being an excellent cook, he was also known to be able to fix just about anything.

He was known as a a family man, and is described by his children as the best father they could have ever asked for. Daniel loved his children more than anything in the world. Daniel's passing has saddened the hearts of all that knew him and he will be deeply missed. Preceding Daniel in death, are his cherished mother Judy and beloved brother David Gardner, and infant daughter, Maggie Gardner.

Left to cherish his memory, are his wife of twenty-three years, Holly Gardner, and their four children, Jacob, Meghan, Olivia, and Sara Gardner; also his devoted Father Mike (Cari) of Marion; S ister in law Rachel Hergenrother (Adam), and their children Ben and Gracie Hergenrother. A funeral mass to celebrate Daniel's life will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2019, at 12:00 p.m. at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 102 Andrews Place, Swannanoa, North Carolina 28778, with Father Matt Leonard officiating.

The family will receive friends on Friday, July 12, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., at Beam Funeral Service. A private interment will occur at a later date.
