He is survived by: his wife Laurel "Laurie" Grow Dennis Buchanan; his children, Angela Buchanan of Marion, NC and Tony Buchanan of Marion, NC; his stepchildren, April Dennis (Kam Parker) of Asheville, NC, David Dennis Jr. (Nelleke) of Boston, MA and Jonathan Dennis (Sarah) of Hamilton, NY.; his grandchildren, Kelsey and Madison; his stepgrandchildren, Benjamin, Geoffery, Kyle, Joel and Coral; his great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Micah, Leo, Diego, Paisley and Daisy; and his sister Kathy Gentry (Jerry) of Marion, NC..
