Donald Gene Millwood Obituary

It is with sadness that the passing of Donald Gene Millwood (Marion, North Carolina) is shared. Donald, born on July 24, 1941, passed away on May 27, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Donald will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor Donald by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Donald is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Donald’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Annabelle Millwood and Richard Millwood; and his siblings, Doris, Hugh Edward and Terry.

He is survived by: his wife Peggy; his children, Rick Millwood and Amy Millwood Lyman (Scott); and his stepchildren, Jason Beasley (Kim) and Hannah Menacof (Clint). He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Catamount Club at Western Carolina University in Don's honor.
