She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Thompson and Birtie Sloan Thompson; and her children, Fredrick Knox, Theodore Knox and Ida K. Davis.
She is survived by: her children, Argie K. Johnson of Chicago, IL, Hazel Knox and James C. Knox (Diane) of New Orleans, LA. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
