He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Junior Parrish and Betty Gardner Parrish; and his wife Kathleen Moody Parrish. He is survived by: his children, Misty Carrico of Asheboro, NC and Drew Parrish (Jennifer) of Asheboro, NC; his grandchildren, Amber, Joseph and Morgan; his great grandchild Izra; and his siblings, Diane Allred of Marion, NC and Joe Parrish (Jan) of Cary, NC..
