He was predeceased by: his parents, James Herbert Harris and Irene Ballard Harris of Winchester; and his wife Sandra Ann. He is survived by: his children, Diane McFerrin (John) of Black Mountain and Rick Harris of Black Mountain; his grandchildren, Lilli McFerrin of Black Mountain and Jake McFerrin of Black Mountain; and his brothers, Julian Harris of Winchester, Kentucky, Shelby Harris (Elva) of Winchester, Kentucky and Jim Harris (Pam) of Winchester, Kentucky. He is also survived by nieces, and nephews.
