We are sad to announce that, on April 15, 2026, Gary Greene (Marion, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Greene and Mildred Tipton Greene; and his siblings, Robert Greene, Jerry Wayne Greene and Norma Lee Greene.
He is survived by: his wife Pennie Greene; his sons, Justin Greene (Kelsey), Jennings Greene (Abigail) and Brian Greene (Amanda); his grandchildren, Easton, Peyton, Piper and Madison Greene; and his siblings, Bradley Greene, James Claude Greene (Janice), Terry Greene (Deb) and Linda Willis. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family would like any donations be made to Hospice & Palliative Care of the Blue Ridge at 236 Hospital Drive, Spruce Pine, NC 28777.
