He is survived by: his children, Asheley Underwood (Scott) and Brett Hartis (Tara); his grandchildren, Trait, Teague Hartis, Gray and Evangeline "Van" Underwood; and his siblings, Marilyn Hatcher-Franquiz, Randy Hartis (Carol) and Craig Hartis (Joni).
