He was predeceased by: his father Gilbert Lipe; his son Vaughn Lipe; and his brother John Lipe. He is survived by: his wife Julie Lipe of Marion; his son Duane Lipe of Old Fort; his stepchildren, Jill Locke (James) of Marion and Freddy Ricketts (Shanon) of Old Fort; and his sister Myrna of Mississippi. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
