With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Harlan Reel of Marion, North Carolina, who passed away on July 15, 2022 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Jonas Reel; his daughter Linda Reel; his grandson Rocky Smith; his siblings, Frances Dobson, Margaret Hall, Lucille Bradley, Junior Reel, Asbury Reel and Roland Reel; and his nephew Caleb Ayers.
He is survived by: his wife Margie Briggs Reel; his children, Nancy Boring (Conley), Anthony Reel (Mechelle) and Mickey Reel (Joanne); his grandchildren, Tina, Andrew, Dustin, Melissa, Kevin, Travis and Billy; his sisters, Annie Mae Compton, Laura Bradley and Marie Bradley; and his pet Marlie. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren.
